Come on Gd, I'm a hockey fan but the NHL has become a really boring league and a really violent one.
I'm not saying the minor leagues are better than the NHL, but at least the one I'm talking about hasn't had one bad incident on a star player all year long. Brashear fought only once so far, he's not there for that.

Those minor leagues are boring, and they would be even more boring if it wern't for NHL'ers in them right now.

Minor league over the NHL but where is the NHL right now?
I just hope it'll last long enough that at least 4 to 6 teams have to close. Even if it is my beloved penguins. The NHL has become a league where market that had great fans lost there teams and market that just don't care (or at least wouldn'tchoose hockey over baseball, football or basketball) have teams. It has become a league where average players have jobs because they can old the fort while the good players get there energy back. Where having two good lines is a luxury and where teams prefer to have two lines of stars, one of old timer and one of defensive players than letting play young guys like the NFL.
I don't like Minor league over the NHL but this the LHNA is a good replacement league while the NHL fat cats just can't reasons themselves.
I'll agree with you on that porthos, the NHL is not making it easy on us fans and thier sure in the hell not gaining anymore fans with all this lockout bs.
What happened to playing the game for the love of it.
